Coal mining and handling equipment, steel and paper mill machinery, lock and dam gates, operating machinery for movable bridges, heavy duty hoists, large diameter rope drums and sheaves, gears, bearings and other mechanical power transmission equip- ment are typical of the rugged products furnished by Steward. Over the years we have grown from a small repair shop, serving the needs of local industry, to one of the largest, most modern and best equipped fabrication and precision machine shops in the United States.
